Pre-Raphealite Inspired Outfits

After hearing the news that a Rossetti sketch had been found by chance in a country house. I thought not why not try to put together an outfit or two that are inspired by the glamorous and fairy tale-like appearance of the Pre-Raphaelite's work.
I have been in love with the Pre-Raphaelite's and the artists that followed for years, and have written about them in many of my essays and presentations. They are an incredibly under-valued art movement of Victorian England. I would encourage you to find out more about them!

Anyway onto the fashion...

'The Soul of the Rose' - By John William Waterhouse.

As the kimono is quite a statement piece, I think it is perfect with a simple but elegant top. With plain black skinnies and pink nail varnish this outfit is brought into the 21st Century.

'Ophelia' - By John Everett Millais.
This outfit is definitely one to save up for. But would be perfect for a wedding etc. I love the long floaty dress. There is definitely a sense of nature and calmness. Ideally this outfit would be perfect barefoot in the forest!
Don't forget to comment to share any ideas etc.
